Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Supervisor to join our team in Metairie, LA. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained for our patients. You will be responsible for internal case management, evaluation, and development of nursing talent, as well as participating in patient releases from facilities to their homes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented nurse looking to expand their career and positively impact the lives of patients and their families within their community. You will have the flexibility to work in a field-based environment (75%) and office-based setting (25%). Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong interest in pediatrics and private duty home health, and a passion for providing compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Internal case management, evaluation, and development of nursing talent
  • Participating in patient releases from facilities to their homes through "Start of Care Assessments" and "Re-evaluations"
  • Reviewing physicians' orders and updating plans of care and documentation as necessary
  • Assisting with interviewing, selecting, training, and validating new clinical staff
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A good-standing RN license in the state where you will practice
  • At least 1 year of hands-on nursing experience
  • Ability to travel to patients' homes in designated territory
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and pass an MVR check
