This is a unique opportunity to join Prisma Health as an Occupational Therapist - Acute Care Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans

Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients in acute care settings, taking into account their individual needs and goals.

Provide Patient Education

Teach patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques, promoting independence and empowerment.

Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams

Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.

Document Patient Progress

Accurately and thoroughly document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory requirements.

Requirements
  • Education

Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an NBCOT-approved program.

Certifications

SC OT Licensure from the Board of OT Examiners or OT Compact Commission.

Skills

Demonstrate clinical competency, effective communication, and strong interpersonal skills.
