Locum Psychiatry Hospitalist Position in Globe, AZ

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatry Hospitalist to join our team at DocStar Medical Partners in Globe, AZ. As a key member of our hospital's psychiatric department, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the smooth operation of our facility.

Estimated Salary: $250-$300 per hour, depending on experience

About the Role
  • This is a 4-day locum tenens position with flexible scheduling options
  • You will work closely with our experienced medical team to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex psychiatric needs
  • Your expertise will help us maintain high standards of quality and safety in our psychiatric services
Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient psychiatric care to adult patients with acute mental health conditions
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Degree from an accredited medical school (MD or DO)
  • Board certification in psychiatry (ABPN) or eligibility for board certification
  • Current AZ state licensure and DEA registration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
