Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team as a Women's Health Specialist - Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist. This role involves leading patient care and supporting clinic success by developing individualized plans of care, utilizing evidence-based interventions, and educating patients about their recovery process.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of women's health and pelvic floor physical therapy, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work collaboratively with our team to create meaningful outcomes and provide high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Synthesize pertinent information from patient referrals, medical records, imaging, intake forms, and subjective history taking.
  • Diagnose movement dysfunction via functional movement, posture, and gait analysis, internal pelvic floor examinations, objective measurements, and listening to patient concerns and goals.
  • Develop individualized plans of care for patients, incorporating evidence-based interventions such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, biofeedback, and other modalities.
  • Evaluate and document patient progress, using outcomes to drive results and modifying the plan of care as needed.
  • Educate patients about their recovery process and provide support during challenging times.

Requirements
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Texas (recent graduates welcome to apply).
  • Interest in women's health and pelvic floor physical therapy.
  • Pelvic Floor physical therapy experience or certification is a plus.
