Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for providing exceptional patient care to join our post-partum team at ShorePoint Health Port Charlotte.
  • The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in post-partum nursing and be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
  • PALS/BLS certification is also required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
  2. Promote patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
  3. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
