Emergency Care Specialist

Welcome to Women & Infants Hospital, one of the top largest stand-alone obstetrical services in the country. We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Women's Emergency Department.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing primary nursing care for patients and their families in accordance with the American Nurse's Association Standards of Professional Nursing Practice. As an Emergency Department nurse, you will identify medical emergencies, triage and determine severity, and provide immediate support and interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care
- Implement and evaluate nursing interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
Requirements:
- CURRENT licensure in the State of Rhode Island
- Maintain CPR/ACLS/NRP and any other credentials necessary for this role
- Ability to lift and transport patients
- Proficient in the English language
- Minimum 1-2 years of med surg RN experience in a hospital environment
