We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our inpatient psychiatry team at Alita Care, LLC. As a Nurse in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs, prioritizing nursing care activities and assigning patients' care according to patient needs and skill level of staff daily.
- Provide trauma-informed care to patients, modeling a calm approach to managing crisis and supervising staff in providing strength-based care.
- Administer medication safely and document according to procedure, adhering to policy of patient confidentiality and maintaining professional boundaries.
- Lead and document on a weekly basis a group for patients, identifying resources to facilitate effective patient care and maintaining effective working relationships with other departments and clinicians.
- MA licensure and experience in inpatient psychiatry required for per diem position.
- Chemical Dependency and Medical Surgical Nursing experience preferred.
- CPR certification required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills mandatory.
