Job Title: Highway Infrastructure Electrician
Company Overview: Byers Industrial Services is a leading construction company specializing in highway infrastructure projects across the Mid-Atlantic region.
Position Overview: As an Electrician Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience in the installation and maintenance of various electrical systems, including street lights, traffic lights, and highway lighting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems for highway construction projects.
- Work closely with journeyman electricians and other team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Participate in regular inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical issues.
- Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used under supervision.
Requirements:
- Active Electrician Apprentice license in Delaware.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate professionally with colleagues and clients.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to developing high-quality work skills.
- Willingness to travel within Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania as project demands require.
