Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate between transportation carriers and field sales personnel to provide information on service issues and resolutions.
  • Use FourKites real-time tracking for load updates.
  • Communicate with Customer Service about service issues or potential problems.
  • Serve as the main line of communication to keep sales and brokers informed of issues.
  • Handle data entry and tracking.
  • Make decisions when original delivery appointments are missed and determine next steps for product delivery to the customer.
  • Track and report on Spotlight Accounts that have experienced recent service issues requiring special handling.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure our transportation provider meets outlined requirements.
  • Assist Appointment Scheduling in securing delivery appointments to ensure products are delivered according to customer requests.
  • Assist in rescheduling delivery appointments as needed.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2+ years' experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Customer Service.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel software, and Order Processing software.
  • Good reasoning skills, including the ability to calculate transactional economic decisions between alternatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to bring quick resolution to problems.
  • Ability to work well with others in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000-$75,000 per year, depending on experience.
