We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Rio Grande Regional Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated professional to provide exceptional care to patients in the Progressive Phase II PACU.

Salary & BenefitsThe estimated salary for this role is $105,000 - $125,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
Job DescriptionThis is a full-time position, requiring a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License. A minimum of one year of experience in an acute care Medical/Surgical setting is required, with Day Surgery/Pre-Op experience preferred.
- Duties:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients admitted for surgical or diagnostic procedures in the Day Surgery Unit.
- Apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.
- Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
- Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities.
- Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team.
