About This Opportunity

A challenging and rewarding position is available for a Nurse Practitioner to join our team at AMS Healthcare Staffing, providing high-quality healthcare services in our residential Addiction Recovery Services.

Job Summary

This role requires a current license as a Registered Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with the State of Kentucky and experience equivalent to three years in the behavioral health/addiction recovery fields. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and providing continuous nursing services for residents within residential treatment, continuously assessing the effectiveness of nursing procedures, and implementing any necessary changes to ensure quality-nursing services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Nursing Services:
  2. Monitor and provide continuous nursing services for residents within residential treatment
  3. Continuously assess the effectiveness of nursing procedures and implement any changes necessary to ensure quality-nursing services
  4. Serve effectively as a consultation resource for staff and clearly communicate clinical expertise
  5. Recruit nursing and health service personnel when necessary
  6. Oversee compliance of all MAT standards and services
  7. Maintain Behavioral Health Services Organization KARS standards along with AODE and Medicaid standards

Requirements
  • Current APRN licensed in Kentucky
  • Three years of experience with preferred experience with residential populations and patients with mental health and/or substance use disorders
  • Office-based work with moderate standing and walking, office-based desk work, some possible mild lifting, and occasional travel in town across locations
Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $90-95,000 per year, depending on experience.
