At Salesforce, we're looking for a Senior Manager, Revenue Recognition to join our team. This role will play a critical part in ensuring our financial reporting and compliance are accurate and up-to-date.

About the Role

The Senior Manager, Revenue Recognition will be responsible for partnering with Sales, Legal, Sales Operations, and Pricing teams to ensure proper revenue recognition. This includes reviewing complex revenue contracts for compliance with US GAAP and determining the appropriate accounting treatment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure proper revenue recognition
  • Review and analyze complex revenue contracts for compliance with US GAAP
  • Develop and maintain standard contract structures for both existing and new products
  • Lead training on revenue recognition rules, policies, and practices within the Company
  • Engage with external auditors and respond to changes in the audit approach
  • Maintain documentation for all review and compliance work completed
  • Deliver high-quality customer service and support to internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • 5+ years of combined Big 4 and industry experience, with relevant revenue recognition experience
  • Primary audit experience in SaaS/software industry
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Project management skills, including planning, task assignment, status tracking, and reporting

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Salesforce and Zuora RevPro
  • Strong MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
