Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and construction oversight of water and wastewater related projects, including pipelines, treatment plants, and lift stations.
  • Develop and manage project plans, specifications, and estimates for transportation and infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with our leadership team to provide program management support to multiple agencies and TxDOT through all phases of project development.
  • Manage internal team members and consultants through various activities, including programming, funding, design reviews, cost estimating, and construction oversight.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (recently passed the PE Exam will be considered).
  • 4+ years of experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD, MS Office, and/or Geopak (or Open Roads).
  • Effective communication skills to engage with upper management and engineering staff.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing work assignments and project needs.

Bonus Points:

  • Previous work experience in a management capacity.
  • Experience with utility design (electric, gas, drainage, water, wastewater).
  • Experience with water distribution systems, treatment plants, sanitary sewer collection systems, lift stations.
