Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Scheduler to join our team at Oceaneering. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with project management software, analyzing data, and communicating effectively with teams.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining master production plans and schedules using Primavera P6. They will work closely with Project Managers to detail statements of work, forecast resources, and allocate budgets. Additionally, they will produce project status reports, including Earned Value Analysis, schedule performance, and cost performance indices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, update, and maintain accurate records in various project databases
  • Analyze data to identify trends, abnormalities, and action items
  • Compile statistical reports and Earned Value Management related data
  • Provide reports on various project-related topics to supervisors and Project Managers
  • Coordinate between the Finance Office and Project Teams to ensure accuracy of data
  • Assist project teams with developing project cost estimates
  • Maintain records of various tasks related to the job
  • Perform quality control analysis and other related activities
  • Participate in the development of training pertaining to data control and analysis for project teams

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years' experience with Primavera - P6 or similar project management software
  • General knowledge of project management processes (PMI)
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable team player with good time-management, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree or graduation from an accredited shipbuilding apprentice program preferred
  • Prior experience with scheduling or performing production work control in ship repair or shipbuilding preferred

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Location:

This position is based in Hampton Roads, VA, and requires occasional travel to our designated office and shipyard.
