Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Porterville Developmental Center. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing inpatient and outpatient services to individuals with developmental disabilities.

• Conduct initial mental health evaluations, including assessment of criminal, psychiatric, and substance abuse case history.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide crisis interventions, face-to-face interviews, and clinical consultations as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective treatment outcomes.
• Pursue ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices and research in the field.

• Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
• License to practice psychology in California.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and complex mental health needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
