Job Summary

The Employer Relations Coordinator will provide operational support to the Employer Relations and Outcomes (ERO) team at Stanford University. This role will work closely with employers, students, and team members to facilitate a range of events and customer services, including employer info sessions, interviews, and coffee chats via online platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to inquiries and determine appropriate action as required, serving as a resource regarding defined policies and procedures.
  • Manage inquiries, welcome visitors, and foster a friendly environment at events, facilitating the use of online platforms like Handshake and supporting communications through the ERO employer email account.
  • Coordinate administrative tasks for recruitment events and interviews via online systems, including room reservations, event management, AV support, and travel logistics.
  • Draft and/or generate routine communications, coordinate production, and dissemination of documents, such as presentations, course handouts, grant proposals, conference and seminar materials, complex reports, brochures, and displays.
  • Process and monitor routine financial transactions, researching and resolving discrepancies, and supporting the processing and tracking of finance-related items such as invoices, payments, and compliance with Stanford and division policy.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment, obtain vendor quotations as needed, and coordinate office moves.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for career fairs and events, assist with employer outreach and communications, track registration data, and monitor and resolve recruitment issues for employers and staff.
  • Guide and train student and/or contingent workers, including scheduling, assigning, and prioritizing workloads, setting appropriate deadlines, and reviewing work for quality and timeliness.
Requirements
  • High school diploma and three years of administrative experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Proficient computer skills and demonstrated experience with office software and email applications.
  • Demonstrated success in following through and completing routine tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
