Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and maintain Floyds 99 culture and core values, driving employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Meet or exceed key operating and financial metrics, ensuring the shop's growth and profitability.
  • Responsible for performing hair services on clients as needed, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ensure proper staff coverage during all hours of operation, ensuring seamless customer experience.
  • Effectively manage and resolve client service and employee concerns, providing timely and professional solutions.
  • Execute tasks and follow through to completion, meeting all deadlines and expectations.
  • Responsible for the management of Floyds 99 Shop Employees in training, product knowledge, skills development, job performance, and recognition, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled performance reviews with employees, providing constructive feedback and coaching opportunities.
  • Promote internal and external education and other development opportunities for staff, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
  • Attend monthly manager meetings and facilitate monthly shop meetings, ensuring open communication and collaboration.
  • Oversee inventory processes, including order accuracy, timely invoicing entry and submission, maintaining adequate inventory levels, and conducting physical counts, optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Maintain and safeguard inventory and other company assets, preventing losses and ensuring compliance.
  • Educate and encourage employees to consistently recommend and upsell retail products and add-on services, driving revenue growth.
  • Ensure the shop and all employees are following and in compliance with all Cosmetology and Barbering rules and regulations, upholding industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with and hold employees accountable for all company state-specific time and attendance scheduling, meal break, and rest break processes, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience, demonstrating leadership and management capabilities.
  • Previous experience with managing +10 employees, showcasing expertise in team management and development.
  • Strong client-service orientation, including commitment to consistent high-quality service and delivery, ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including dispute resolution skills, facilitating effective communication and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining composed and efficient under pressure.
  • Ability to build and maintain a strong and productive team environment, fostering collaboration and motivation.
  • Maintain flexible work hours, including nights and weekends, accommodating the shop's operational needs.
Compensation Package
  • Rate of pay plus $6,000 annual bonus target, incentivizing outstanding performance.
