We are expanding our team and seeking a skilled MRI Technologist Float to join our dynamic group of professionals in Indianapolis, Indiana. This exciting opportunity provides the chance to work varied shifts across multiple teams in different locations within the Indy Metro area.

This full-time role offers an attractive base salary, supplemented by additional pay for float and shift differential duties. You will have the flexibility to select your home base from various locations, with a preference given to those residing on the north side.

In this position, you will perform routine and advanced MRI procedures, adhering to strict safety protocols while ensuring excellent patient care and comfort throughout the examination process. Your responsibilities will also include:

  • • Performing MRI scans with minimal supervision, utilizing precision and accuracy to produce high-quality images

    • Preparing patients for MR procedures, explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and providing emotional support throughout

    • Maintaining a positive attitude and fostering effective working relationships with radiologists, referring physicians, and colleagues

    • Accurately recording patient information within the Radiology Information System (RIS)

    • Ensuring a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety regulations to protect patients, coworkers, and equipment


Apart from these core duties, you will also be responsible for maintaining equipment, assisting with software upgrades, monitoring medical supply inventory, and contributing to training new associates.
