Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team at Lady Lake Specialty Care Center. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting a safe and supportive environment that fosters their physical and emotional well-being.
Responsibilities:- Provide personal care to residents, including grooming, bathing, dressing, and oral care.
- Assist with ambulation and transfer of residents, using appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
- Record resident vital signs, weights, and measurements, as well as intake and output, food consumption, and other information as assigned.
- Turn and position residents as necessary, and observe them carefully to report any changes in condition to the Charge Nurse.
- Participate in collecting data needed for the accurate completion of the MDS and the plan of care, and provide input to the nurses for development of the plan of care.
- Prepare residents for meals and transport them to the dining room, ensuring that food trays are accessible and self-help devices are available as needed.
- Keep accurate records of food intake and output, and be alert for proper ventilation, temperature, light, and noise control.
- Promptly answer call lights and assist with other resident needs.
- Current Nursing Assistant certification from the state of Florida.
- Current/active CPR certification, preferred.
- At least one year of Skilled Nursing experience, preferred.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
