At GPAC, we're seeking a talented Industrial Automation Systems Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in designing, implementing, and configuring new automation systems for our growth-oriented clients.

About the Job

This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your skills and experience in industrial electrical/machine control system design, PLC programming, and process control equipment. As an Industrial Automation Systems Specialist, you'll work closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve problems on the plant floor.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical control systems that interface with process manufacturing equipment and devices.
  • Implement complete software solutions, including PLC, HMI, and 3rd-party device programming.
  • Conduct customer requirement reviews, addressing overall specifications, component selection, machine control layouts, and programming.
  • Participate in product and system design reviews, machine testing, installation, and start-up.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • ~2 years of experience with industrial electrical/machine control system design.
  • Advanced knowledge of PLC programming: Rockwell Automation RS Logix 500, RS Logix 5000, Studio 5000, and Connected Components Workbench.
  • Familiarity with motion control systems, including servo applications.
What We Offer
