Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing the Infection Prevention and Control Program (IPCP) at our facility. This includes providing training for new hires, developing education programs for infection control, and ensuring quality patient care through surveillance and outbreak management.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited nursing degree, specialized training in infection prevention, and at least three years of nursing experience. They must also be able to work flexible hours to meet with employees working evening and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Accredited nursing degree and current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing
  • Specialized training in infection prevention and control within 90 days of hire
  • At least three years of full-time or equivalent nursing experience
  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and nights
Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $42-$45 per hour, based on the national average for similar positions in New Mexico. We also offer a range of benefits and incentives to support your career and personal goals.
