Aerotek Job Description:

As an Ammonia Refrigeration Technician at Aerotek, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of ammonia refrigeration systems. Your duties will include inspecting and testing equipment, identifying and repairing malfunctions, and performing routine maintenance tasks. You will also be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of the systems and adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test ammonia refrigeration equipment daily
  • Identify and repair malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Ensure the safe operation of the systems and adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Clean evaporators and condensers daily for the correct operation of fans and glycol pumps
  • Help maintain and check boilers
  • Repair and replace improper fittings and broken refrigeration pipes
