Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Nurse to join our team at the University of Maryland Medical Center. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our ICU and IR units.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU and IR units.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in ICU and IR settings.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Maryland.
  • ACLS and BLS certification.
  • NIHSS certification preferred.
