Job Summary

The Nurse Practitioner is a key member of our care team, responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care that meets clinical, administrative, and financial performance metrics.

This role requires a skilled and compassionate healthcare professional who can implement, deliver, and ensure the highest level of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
  2. Participate in the selection of suitable treatment plans for all patients, collaborating with other care providers as needed.
  3. Supervise staff to ensure the care team is providing appropriate care in accordance with their duties and obligations.
  4. Assist other care providers and extended care teams as needed.
  5. Provide continuous availability for medical and technical questions to employees, patient care staff, and ancillary care providers, including after-hours coverage.
  6. Actively participate in quality improvement programs and multidisciplinary quality assurance programs.
  7. Collaborate with the management team to ensure improvement of patient care.
  8. Cooperate with clinical outcome reviews and measurements.
  9. Comply with all policies, procedures, and protocols.
  10. Provide general medical care and treatment to patients in the health center under the direction of a physician (depending on state).
  11. Submit healthcare plans and goals of individual patients for periodic review and evaluation by a physician.
  12. Prescribe or recommend drugs or other forms of treatment, such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.
  13. May refer patients to a physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
  • Must be Board Certified.
  • Must be licensed to practice in the appropriate state.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • Preferred qualifications include proficiency in promoting the clinic, strong communication skills, and physical ability to perform the duties of the job.
