Unit Manager/Director - RN Job Description

Cedar Ridge Center in Sissonville, WV is seeking a skilled Unit Manager/Director - RN to lead our nursing team and deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct the overall operations, coordination, and direction of nursing and patient care for an assigned nursing unit.
  • Ensure patient care delivery is consistent with Genesis HealthCare's mission, vision, values, and policies, as well as state and federal regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy, and other professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients on the assigned nursing unit.
  • Manage human resources in the assigned unit, including limiting overtime and agency personnel, recruiting and orienting staff, assessing work performance, and implementing disciplinary action when necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university.
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.

Position Highlights:
