As a Critical Care Specialist in Emergency Medical Services with AMR, you will provide high-quality patient care and critical thinking skills to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients. With a passion for delivering compassionate and advanced medical services, you will be responsible for assessing each call to determine the best course of action and appropriate protocol.

Job Responsibilities
  • Utilize medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen devices, intravenous fluids, CPR, and other procedures and medications as required to provide advanced medical care.
  • Drive the ambulance and provide map reading support to minimize call response time.
  • Continuously maintain all required certifications and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers to receive and understand call data and customer feedback.
  • Monitor and maintain the general condition of the unit, ensuring it is clean and stocked for optimal call response.
  • Document activities regarding patient care and billing to ensure accurate information is available.

Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) with some advanced education preferred. A current state Paramedic License is also required.

Certifications: Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, BTLS or PHTLS Provider Certification (where applicable or required by contract). A valid State Driver's License is also necessary.

Salary and Benefits: This role offers an estimated annual salary of $85,000-$100,000 based on experience and location. As a member of the AMR team, you will enjoy comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
