The Head Start Technical Assistance Manager will be part of the Office of Head Start Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) team working with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The TTA system supports local programs to address priority areas, including school readiness, staff training and development, and addressing issues identified through federal monitoring.

This role is stationed in Colorado.

How You Contribute

  • Develop and implement quality assurance systems for TTA deliverables related to Grantee Specialists' work.
  • Provide ongoing oversight and coaching to Grantee Specialists.
  • Develop and implement professional development for Grantee Specialists to increase their capability to deliver TA that supports grantee corrective action efforts.
  • Communicate with Regional Office staff to ensure coordinated support, messaging, and prioritization of technical assistance to grantees.
  • Conduct field observations of Grantee Specialists to assess quality of TTA provided and determine professional development needs.
  • Implement TTA data aggregation, analysis, and reporting processes that inform and improve the quality and responsiveness of Grantee Specialist TTA services.
  • Participate in national and regional briefings as well as other regional office meetings.
  • Provide direct TTA to grantees, as requested by the Regional Office.

You will perform these tasks and others as assigned by management in support of our goals and objectives.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited university or college.
  • At least 3 years of experience providing technical assistance to HS/EHS programs related to management and fiscal systems.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience with progressive supervision/management and staff development, preferably managing remote-located staff.
  • Experience coaching staff, developing and implementing quality assurance systems, analyzing and presenting data.

Estimated Salary: $80,000-$130,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience.
