As a Nuclear Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures according to established protocols and guidelines. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the highest quality patient care and adhering to safety standards. Key responsibilities include:

* Performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology
* Conducting quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state, and federal guidelines
* Maintaining a thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong educational background in Nuclear Medicine, with a degree from a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). Additionally, you will need to be registered with either CNMT or NMTCB and hold a current BLS certification.
