Disability Medical Consultant

At Guidehouse, we are seeking a highly skilled Disability Medical Consultant - Energy Efficiency Expert to join our team. As a key member of our Energy, Sustainability, and Infrastructure practice, you will play a critical role in supporting the evaluation, investigation, and analysis of new and emerging technologies that can improve the overall efficiency of buildings or related equipment.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering, physics, or a related field of study, with a focus on energy efficiency and advanced technologies. They will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining working partnerships with a diverse set of stakeholders, including government agencies, industry representatives, equipment manufacturers, trade organizations, and efficiency advocates.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing detailed fact finding, research, and analysis on energy-related activities
- Modeling the performance of advanced technologies
- Performing technical and data analyses; data collection; Developing test methods to help characterize the energy use of various appliances
- Reviewing international test methods and procedures currently used by industry
- Testing the energy efficiency of various appliances
- Preparing reports, presentations, and other documents for clients
