Financial Planning and Analysis Director

LexisNexis is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Director to join our Decision Support Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working with various business partners across multiple products to ensure the continuation and acceleration of our growth trajectory.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with VP's and Senior Management to deliver financial results and drive initiatives.
  • Confidently use data in decision-making while seamlessly linking financials with commercial, operational, and other data.
  • Bridge between commercial and product ownership to ensure business leaders are up to speed on results, providing advice through data and analytics to drive better results.
  • Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecast processes for the products.
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for senior management.
  • Deliver enhanced insight on cost drivers and develop financial metrics providing constructed recommendations for actions.
  • Provide timely, sound, and actionable financial recommendations from insights on scenarios of future performance.
  • Follow internal controls and procedures to comply with data integrity and consistency to give insight for the annual audits.
  • Manage and develop a team with various levels of experience, ensuring their continued development.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, with a track record of delivering results and driving financial performance.
  • In-depth knowledge of finance, accounting principles, financial regulations, and risk management practices.
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities, with the capacity to effectively influence decision-making at the executive level.
  • Experience of achieving results in an international environment, with appreciation of differences in culture and legal frameworks.
  • Ability to look beyond the financials, linking financials with metrics and other data to drive results.
