Job Overview

The Sales Associate role at Cox Communications is a dynamic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth.

This position involves working in a Third-Party Retailer environment, where you will be the primary point of contact for both new and existing customers. Your key responsibilities will include guiding customers through the purchase decision, installation process, and education of Cox product and accessory offerings.

As a critical member of the sales team, you will be responsible for meeting established sales, revenue, and customer experience objectives. This requires strong interpersonal skills, a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure individual sales, revenue, and customer experience targets are met
  • Provide best-in-class customer service skills and aid customers in completing purchases and resolving issues
  • Execute promotions and campaigns designed to increase brand equity and achieve sales objectives
  • Ensure sales area remains well merchandised, clean, and visually appealing at all times
  • Participate in workshops, special events, and product demonstrations to drive customer loyalty
  • Continuously expand knowledge of current Cox products as well as competitor product offerings

Requirements:

  • HS diploma or GED
  • 1 or more year of experience preferred in related field (i.e. Sales, Retail Sales, etc.)
  • Ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience target goals
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule which includes weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Computer literacy with an aptitude for learning communication products and services
