Centralized Sterile Processing Specialist

The Detroit Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Centralized Sterile Technician to join our team. As a Centralized Sterile Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of sterility and quality in our surgical instruments and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
- Monitor and maintain the sterility of the central sterile processing department
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and efficient processing
- Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and quality
- Train and supervise staff members
Requirements
- Associates Degree or 2-3 years of experience in Central Processing/Materials Management
- Certification in Sterile Processing (CSPDT or CRCST) preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
