Kitchen Preparation Specialist

Job Summary:
The Kitchen Preparation Specialist position at SWRG INC is responsible for preparing and cooking food items in accordance with our quality and service standards. This role requires strong knowledge of all menu items and ingredients used in recipes, as well as the ability to maintain and ensure that all food temperatures are appropriate for menu items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate orders to ensure timely and accurate preparation and cooking of food items.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all company safety and sanitation standards.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar position, preferably in a high-volume or fine dining restaurant.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective verbal communication skills and ability to read tickets.
- Ability to be on your feet for a full shift, including use of stairs.
- Ability to lift/carry 30 pounds.
- Working knowledge of basic kitchen cooking & prepping terminology.
- Basic kitchen knife skills.
