Staff Engineer, Identity and Access Management

About the Role:

SiriusXM is seeking a Staff Engineer to drive our identity transformation. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing organization committed to delivering outstanding user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of Okta solutions to meet organizational identity and access management needs.
  • Research and recommend emerging technologies to keep SiriusXM at the forefront of the IAM space.
  • Drive the adoption of Okta from legacy IDP systems, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure proper integration with Okta services and alignment with the organization's security policies.
  • Establish and maintain monitoring, reporting, and auditing processes for Okta services.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for Okta services.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on IAM best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Develop and maintain Python scripts and applications to automate IAM processes.
  • Leverage AWS services to enhance IAM solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IAM, with a focus on implementing and managing Okta solutions.
  • In-depth understanding of IAM concepts, technologies, and standards.
  • In-depth knowledge of Okta platform services.
  • Familiarity with SDLC process, including designing and developing applications.
  • Knowledge of HRIS and directory systems.
  • Experience configuring and managing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) factors for Okta users.
  • Advanced AWS Experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Experience in working with REST APIs.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail, strong organization skills, and strong communication skills.
