Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for operating radiology/fluoroscopic equipment to produce images/radiographs (x-rays) of the body for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Position patients on examining tables and adjust immobilization devices as needed to obtain optimum views of specified areas of the body.
  • Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
  • Move radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment into specified positions and adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance.
  • Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff.
  • Operate mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in operating rooms, emergency rooms, or at patients' bedside.
  • Operate film processing equipment.

Unit Details:

  • Equipment: Majority is Carestream, Siemens Luminos Agile Fluoroscopy rooms, a Shimadzu room, and GE c-arms.
  • Fluoroscopy: Experience is required due to a heavy fluoroscopy load daily.
  • Mobile Imaging: C-arm and portable x-ray experience required.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years current X-Ray experience.
  • ARRT (R) certificate.
  • Fluoro experience absolutely required - daily procedures.
  • Experience with ER, OR, Bedside imaging - please note on profile.

Submission Requirements:

  • Work History going back at least 7 years.
  • Skills Checklist.
  • At least '2' supervisor reference included - MUST be from within previous two years of employment/contract.
  • Licenses & Certifications.
  • COVID Vaccination card w/ booster.
