Job Title: Sales Manager II

Key Responsibilities:

Staff Management and Leadership
  • Develop and lead a high-performing sales team to meet or exceed sales quotas and increase market share.
  • Ensure sales counselors utilize best practices and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Provide ongoing sales training and coaching to ensure sales counselors meet customer needs.
  • Manage sales counselors, providing guidance on sales processes, product knowledge, and customer service.
Market Share
  • Develop and implement marketing programs tailored to local demographics and community needs.
  • Analyze competitor pricing and stay informed about market trends.
  • Participate in community events to build relationships and increase brand awareness.
Expense Management
  • Review and ensure compliance with pre-need contracts, cemetery contracts, and relevant laws.
  • Approve discounts and prepare reports on financial controls.
Operations Support
  • Maintain marketing materials, training manuals, and sales equipment.
  • Ensure sales programs, incentives, and awards align with company policies.
  • Maintain a professional atmosphere in sales rooms and offices.
Compliance
  • Ensure sales counselors adhere to the Code of Conduct and obtain necessary licensure.
  • Ensure sales practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Sales experience not required, but sales counselor and supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Valid state driver's license with a good driving record and insurance license as required.

Compensation: $105,700 to $222,100 earnings potential.
