CNC Machinist Specialist

The role of a CNC Machinist I at Zavation Medical Products involves setting up and operating various machines, including CNC Swiss Lathes and CNC Mills, to produce high-quality medical device parts. This position requires versatility within a fast-paced production environment, with a focus on mastering essential skills such as blueprint reading, precision tool usage, and effective communication.

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment
• Operate precision tools and instruments accurately
• Run production machines efficiently and effectively
• Work within tight tolerances with attention to detail
• Touch off tools to establish geometry offsets
• Implement necessary wear offsets and modify tooling for clearances and depths
• Operate multiple machines accurately and diligently
• Execute material preparation, removal, and return procedures accurately
• Effectively use touch setters and probes for quality control

Key Requirements:

• Ability to follow instructions and guidance from leadership
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret technical documents
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Basic understanding of trigonometry and ability to read blueprints
• Ability to identify and name tooling by diameter, size, or nose radius
• Mathematical skills and ability to use formulas and charts
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
