Dynamic PRN Charge Nurse with Flexibility

A dynamic opportunity awaits for a skilled and flexible Charge Nurse to join our team at Hamilton Arms Center. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents while enjoying a rewarding and challenging career.
About the Role:
- Evaluate performance, initiate disciplinary actions, and prepare and complete performance evaluations for personnel.
- Perform nursing assessments and collaborate with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care.
- Plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures that are necessary for providing quality care
- Establish realistic, measurable short and long term patient goals with interventions put in place as needs arise to minimize rehospitalizations and continued evaluation of outcomes.
- Administer medications and performs treatments per physician orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delegate patient care responsibilities to staff and supervise them to ensure that tasks and interventions are implemented.
- Communicate patient information with assigned staff and between shifts.
- Function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
- Relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and, at times, hostile people within the Facility.
Requirements:
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state.
- Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
- Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork and team concept.
- Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around $60,000-$80,000 per year, based on experience and location. Additionally, we provide a range of benefits, including daily pay option, negotiable pay with experience, industry leading orientation and training, employee recognition through various awards and programs, and a team centered culture that supports our values of S.H.A.R.E. (Service, Honesty, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence).
