Radiologic Technologist

As a Radiologic Technologist at Columbia Orthopaedic Group, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and imaging services. This position requires a strong understanding of radiologic standards, safety, and equipment maintenance. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, adhering to established radiologic requirements and regulations.
Maintain accurate records and reports, utilizing the DICOM Worklist, PACS, and electronic Medical Record system (EMR).
Collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow, prioritizing patient care and safety.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree or higher preferred.
Radiologic Technologist licensure and ARRT certification required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Work Environment:
Environmentally controlled medical office environment with occasional high-pressure situations.
Exposure to radiation minimized by the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and monitored by radiation badges.
Frequent interaction with a diverse population, including team members and patients.
