Job Title: Principal Product Manager - Tech

Amazon's Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) Inventory Optimization team is seeking a highly analytical and resourceful Principal Product Manager-Tech to drive the development of tools used by third-party sellers.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a collaborative, creative, and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with scientists, engineers, product managers, and operations teams to create product vision and roadmap for tools used by third-party sellers.
  • Own Seller-facing and internal tools that improve user experience and deliver on aggressive input improvement goals.

We are looking for a candidate with excellent written and verbal communication skills to drive decisions at the senior executive level.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience technical product management
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
  • Experience leading cross-organizational programs and setting and holding teams and individuals to timelines and deliverables without explicit authority

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market.
