Fiberglass Insulation Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fiberglass Insulation Specialist to join our team at MaxTech, Inc. as an Insulation Installer.

This is a full-time position with a competitive $45,000 - $65,000 per year salary, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing fiberglass insulation in buildings to control or maintain building temperature.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Installs and replaces insulation in buildings and mechanical systems.
• Reads building plans and blueprints to calculate the quantity and type of insulation materials needed to fulfill job requirements.
• Clears and disposes of old insulation according to established safety guidelines.
• Loads and unloads insulation materials.
• Installs or sprays insulation in attics.
• Measures and cuts insulation to fit into walls, ceilings, and around pipes.
• Fastens insulation in place with tape, screws, staples, or fasteners as needed.
• Transports needed tools and equipment to jobsite.
• Follows company and industry safety guidelines and regulations.
• Ensures all installations follow guidelines and quality standards.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Extensive knowledge of insulation materials.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools to install insulation.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Construction and Related experience preferred.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds at a time.
