Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Correctional Nurse. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing individual care plans, administering medications, and documenting patient encounters. Key Responsibilities- Assess physical, psychological, and social dimensions of patients upon admission and throughout their stay
- Develop individual nursing care plans using nursing assessment protocols in consultation with healthcare providers
- Administer medications using proper techniques, procedures, and approved routes of administration
- Document patient encounters using the Problem-Oriented Medical Records (POMR) form of charting
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- One year of experience in a correctional or similar setting
- Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures
- Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements
The estimated salary range for this position is $1200-$1600 per week, depending on location and experience. Additional benefits include:
