About the Role:
Insight Global is seeking a skilled Security Engineer to join our team. As a Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's information security and networking systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the IT Security Architect and other cross-functional teams to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our organization's assets.
Deploy and maintain security and network technologies to protect our systems and data.
Work closely with the IT team to ensure seamless integration of security measures into our systems.
Requirements:
Associates or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
A minimum of 5 years of information security work experience.
3+ years' experience with setting up and configuring firewalls, issuing VPN certs, and issuing firewall rules.
Must be Checkpoint or Palo Alto certified.
Experience with SPLUNK for evaluating events.
Strong networking background.
Windows or Linux server experience.
Knowledge of Active Directory, IIS, DNS, DHCP, switches, routers, wireless LANs, etc.
Must be able to pass all internal background testing disqualifiers.
Cloud security experience (AWS or Azure) is a plus.
M365 experience is a plus.
Experience making improvements to SPLUNK is a plus.
Network or security certifications are a plus.
CJIS policy knowledge is a plus.
