About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MBD SW and MBD Tools Engineer to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As a key member of our Product Development team, you will be responsible for evaluating, rolling out, maintaining, documenting, and supporting tools for software development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and implement tools for software development, including data dictionary, version control, unit testing, Matlab/Simulink, auto-coding, calibration, AUTOSAR authoring, and custom scripts.
  • Understand the software development team's needs and provide solutions, presenting them to key partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to understand tool requirements and issues.
  • Assist in the development of code generation and test processes from a tools perspective.
  • Participate in Agile team meetings and contribute to the development of software and tools.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in embedded software development or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in controls algorithm development or auto-coding using Matlab or Simulink.
  • 1 year of experience in model in the loop testing.
