Job Summary

CS Energy Limited is seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to lead our renewable energy projects from start to finish. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of our solar and energy storage projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site leadership and guidance to project team members to meet project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Oversee the execution of the project schedule, including construction progress tracking, progress and financial forecasting, document management, problem-solving, dispute resolution, design troubleshooting, and value engineering.
  • Collaborate with the project manager to develop and implement a project schedule that meets the needs of the project team and stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all project activities are executed in accordance with the project scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Develop and implement effective cost controls to ensure that project costs are managed within budget.
  • Train and develop project team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Utilize daily huddles to promote communication, resolve issues, and share ideas among project team members.
  • Review and analyze project reports, including foremen's and daily reports, to ensure that project activities are being executed in accordance with the project plan.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant construction industry experience, with progressively greater responsibility.
  • 4+ years of experience overseeing self-perform work with several crews totaling 20 craft persons and equipment operators or more.
  • Successfully led relatively complex construction projects with diverse scopes and aggressive timelines.
  • Expert knowledge of various areas of construction, including electrical, earthwork, utilities, structures, mechanical, etc.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and P3/P6 Primavera software.
  • Ability to travel and/or temporarily relocate to project construction sites every 3-12 months throughout the United States.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
