Certified Nurse Anesthetist

The Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join its Adult Anesthesiology Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and monitoring General and Regional Anesthetics to patients at Froedtert Hospital under the direction and supervision of staff Anesthesiologists and the Director for Surgical Services and Anesthesia.
Responsibilities:
Administer and monitor General and Regional Anesthetics to patients
Work under the direction and supervision of staff Anesthesiologists and the Director for Surgical Services and Anesthesia
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthetist school
Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact)
National Board of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) certification
Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS) enrollment
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification
American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 90 days of hire
