About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Eppendorf SE. As a key member of our quality team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • First Article Process Management: Develop and implement First Article Inspection processes, generate templates, and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Quality Method Development: Assist in the development, evaluation, and improvement of Receiving Inspection methods to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
  • Quality Collaboration: Interact with management, engineering, and other personnel to discuss quality requirements, timelines, and other considerations to support quality processes.
  • Training and Development: Assist with training needs and provide guidance to ensure quality awareness and skills among team members.
  • Measurement and Inspection: Perform measurements using various metrology tools, 2D and 3D measuring techniques, and demonstrate working knowledge of geometric characteristics.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Maintain workstations in accordance with Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Support to Production: Provide support to production teams as required to ensure smooth operations.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three to five years' related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Quality Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 standards, knowledge of customary dimensioning and tolerancing standards, and GD&T.
  • Technical Skills: Capability to read blueprints, utilize various types of gauges and measuring equipment, and operate CMMs.
