Job Summary

Tradebe Environmental Services is seeking a Class A Driver to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste in conjunction with all DOT rules and regulations out of our Griffith, IN location. As a Class A Driver, you will be responsible for operating various types of equipment and completing hazardous and non-hazardous paperwork, as well as performing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate various types of equipment, including hazardous and non-hazardous waste transportation vehicles.
  • Complete hazardous and non-hazardous paperwork, including daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
  • CDL experience with a Class A driver's license required.
  • 2 years commercial driving experience preferred.
  • Hazardous material and tanker endorsements are preferred.
  • A clean driving record.
  • The selected candidate must be detail oriented, customer focused, and have the ability to apply basic mathematical concepts.
  • The ability to exert physical effort daily, to wear a full-face respirator, and to wear Level C and D protective clothing, when necessary, are required.
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check, are required.
  • The ability to work overtime, and to work a schedule that may vary, some overnight travel may be necessary.
