Caregiver Trainer

Region V Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Caregiver Trainer to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with individuals with disabilities, providing training and support to enhance their competencies and help them achieve their goals.
The successful candidate will be required to work in various locations, including homes and community settings. A flexible schedule may include evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays, with the option to attend training sessions to expand their knowledge and provide quality services.
Schedule

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and colleagues. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a meaningful day for each individual by providing systematic training and customized supports based on their unique needs and desired outcomes.
- Develop personalized training programs and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Maintain a flexible schedule to meet individual needs for training and support.
- Assist individuals in enhancing their image within the community by maintaining their personal appearance and hygiene.
- Provide transportation and support as needed for the individual to improve their community access skills.
In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will be expected to contribute positively to the work team and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Prefer one year of experience in human services.
- A valid driver's license or other reliable means of transportation.
- A reliable means of communication, such as a telephone or cell phone.
