The Role

This Part-Time Relationship Banker position is based in our East Brockton branch, seeking an enthusiastic, customer-centric individual to join their team. Ideal candidates should be available to work at least 3 days per week, with a focus on Mondays and Fridays from 10 AM to 3 PM and Saturdays from 9 AM to 1 PM, with flexibility to cover additional shifts during staff vacations when needed.

This role involves performing various duties related to efficient account opening, accurately processing customer data, building customer relationships through financial education, and adhering to established Bank policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  1. Greet and welcome customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  2. Identify the financial needs of each customer served.
  3. Achieve all assigned customer service and sales goals.
  4. Recommend appropriate solutions to meet customer needs and provide excellent customer service.
  5. Complete all customer requests, including account openings and maintenance.
  6. Perform routine bank transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, maintaining logs, etc.
  7. Maintain and balance cash drawers, reconciling discrepancies.
  8. Comply with Bank operations and security procedures.
  9. Develop and deepen customer relationships by resolving issues efficiently.
  10. Enhance knowledge of Bank products and services to promote opportunities for introducing customers to available options.
  11. Follow all Bank security and compliance policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of related customer service and/or cash handling experience.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong computer and math skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and sales skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to be detail-oriented, efficient, and produce accurate work.
  • High level of accountability, growth mindset, and teamwork/collaboration.
  • Must be able to work rotating schedule of Monday through Saturday.
Compensation

This position offers an estimated salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on experience, based on industry standards and local market conditions.

Work Environment

This office-based position requires employees to operate fingers and hands to perform tasks like typing, writing, and filing, and to move throughout the office with ease while sitting for extended periods. Employees must also be able to see and hear in an office setting with moderate noise levels. While primarily clerical, this role may require transporting up to 20 pounds occasionally.
